Phantom Blade Zero Soul Temper: all materials
Short answer: Soul Temper unlocks when you talk to Myst in her tavern in Pangzhen (around Chapter 4). After that, any bell has Upgrade Equipment → Soul Temper. Each temper costs 5,000 Remnant Dust plus one material made for that weapon, adds a permanent effect or transforms the weapon, and cannot be undone. The table lists 36 materials with effect and location.

How Soul Temper works
- Unlock: talk to Myst in her tavern in Pangzhen, around the Chapter 4 story. Normal upgrades stay at the Forge.
- Where: at any bell, open Upgrade Equipment and switch to Soul Temper (the screen turns purple). There are tabs for main weapons and Phantom Edges.
- Cost: 5,000 Remnant Dust plus one weapon-specific material, or a full set of parts for the multi-part ones. A material only works on its own weapon.
- Result: a named permanent effect, or a new weapon form — Sanguine Reach → Blazing Edge, Sanguine Twin → Shadowless Edge, Sanguine → Infernal Rouge.
- It is permanent and not refunded. PowerPyx says each weapon can be tempered once; the other guides don't say.
- Trophies: A Tempered Ten (temper 10 main weapons) and Phantom Arsenal (temper 10 Phantom Edges).
