- Point of no return 1, Mirage Estate door (Green Serpent House, Pangzhen): finish all 10 purple-icon quests before you go through. PowerPyx treats it as the cutoff; Game Rant says you can still turn back.
- Point of no return 2, the Last Chance bell (Mount Soulrend): the game warns you here. Game Rant says you can load this bell's save after the credits to finish what you missed.
- Apprentice Healer (Yu'er): before the Jing Ye fight, return Blood-Stopper Vine, Congealeaf and Blemish Goldweed to Yu'er. Reward: Medicine Case.
- A Severed Mindseal (first stage): before leaving Weeping Creek Valley, use the Furnace Inspection Crank on the tower furnace for a Primal Stone and return it to the Shadow Warden.
- Before Bai Chilian (Lady of the Twin Serpents): Purge the Sect, Festering Secret (needs the Dread Axe), Honor Among Thieves (heal 4 thieves), A Healer's Mercy, Flesh Lily, and the opening stage of Secrets of the Baishan Sect (Lanlan on the wooden bridge).
- Before entering Pangzhen: The Journey Home (Old Man Gen) and Young Master Lan in Village of Lu.
- Before Yubi (Mandate Encampment): examine the body among the flowers after the Wu Lengshuang encounter for Secrets of the Baishan Sect.
